Crazie Happy was born from my love of making things with my hands, particularly things with clay. There's little that can distract me from my worktable with my 2 dogs crashed out beside me (when they're not barking their heads off in the backyard). It's pretty blissful - no wonder I'm addicted to it.
When it comes to making art I'm drawn to letting whatever wants to come out of me come out. I'm drawn to that kind of creative process, without plan or preconceived idea, spontaneous, in the moment. What comes out of me is what you see in this shop. It's super bright and colorful! It's kind of psychedelic. It resembles patterns and colors you see in art from other cultures - Mexican, Turkish, Moroccan, Persian, Mayan and more.
