The memories and experiences of growing up in the country among the wooded hills of southern Ashland County, Ohio, is a treasure I wish to keep for a lifetime. A close knit family that always strived and contrived together to do what needed to be done and to get through hard times. I remember watching the Wizard of Oz on TV before going to bed in the handmade bunk-bed my father had built for me and my sister, all excited about the next day. We had each one of us done our own little piece, and the next day we hauled our boxes off to the local school that was holding a craft show!
It would seem then only fitting, that in these later years I would tackle this new adventure. Using skills built upon the first original crochet stitches my mother taught me, and the business sense she carefully schooled me in. My fathers…
