About

I'm a simple man that loves the outdoors and nature. I was born in Pennsylvania, a beautiful place, but chose to move to the south back in 1988. Now, years later, I have settled with my wife of 37 years in Kerrville, Texas, the heart of the magnificent Texas Hill Country. Kim was also born back east, in the Catskill Mountains of New York. One of the reasons we love the Texas Hill Country is that it mimics the areas we grew up in without having to go through the harsh winters. We are working toward living a self-sustainable lifestyle. Blessed with finding 14 acres of flatland in the bottom of a box canyon, we are able to garden and raise livestock without too many hardships. Our land is at the end of a 2 mile dirt road, yet just 15 minutes from town.

When we first moved here in 2003, we opened a small gift shop in a very artsy area. We were so fortunate to make friends with several artisans that taught us the wonderful art of woodworking.

We closed our shop in 2006 to pursue our craft fulltime on our ranchette where we now work and live. Being able to support ourselves doing something we love is a great way to live. While we still have stressfull days, they don't come often and we are very grateful for that.

We are believers in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that we have many imperfections, but in God's eyes we are perfect as He does not make mistakes.
