Judy Sipe's Profile

About

I'm always looking for that next creative outlet. I have been a knitter, a seamstress, a woodworker and a tole painter. I painted anything and everything, designed patterns and sold at a lot of craft shows around the state. Lugging tables, display racks and box after box to all the shows was a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Then in 1991 my sister and I decided to open our own gift shop. I kept painting and building until I rediscovered a box of old family photos that sparked my interest in genealogy. All those vintage faces with stories to tell and they were telling me that they no longer wanted to be in a forgotten pile of photos. They wanted to be seen and enjoyed by everyone. So now I put those wonderful vintage faces on greeting cards, notepads, magnets and many other products. Vintage photos eventually led me to vintage movies and the two are the basis for my Etsy shop.
