I make items for historical interpreters, museums and collectors and specialise in sewing and weaving accessories, and personal accessories and hair combs…
But occasionally I find myself straying into more eclectic areas and some of those pieces will be for sale here too :)

All my items are hand cut and finished, from pomanders to comb teeth. I only use machinery when cutting the blanks from which I work. Items are usually finished with beeswax or oil, or the case of painted items, with shellac.

Many of the historical pieces are copies of extant examples, others draw on the motifs and styles of the period to create an item that will be suitable for the historical period listed. The items on sale here are the 'one-off' pieces that will often be harder for me a classify on my website and so may need to reach a wider audience…
