Lorraine Thayer's Profile
Lorraine Thayer was raised in the Eastern Townships of Quebec where she spent much of her childhood visiting her grandfather’s farm. Of all the animals on the farm, cattle were the most attractive to Lorraine. She spent many hours in the cow field enjoying the restful companionship of these gentle creatures.
Now living in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Lorraine works and teaches at her studio home, Bearly Thayer Studio. She keeps her own small herd of cattle which she often features in her realistic watercolour paintings and in her interpretive sculptures.
