I’ve always felt compelled to do something creative as far back as I remember. My grandmother taught me how to do basic crochet when I was twelve, and at the same time I took up oil painting. In my early twenties, I began writing professionally and sold dozens of poems and prose to greeting card companies and a company that made framed art prints. I made a business out of macramé at a time when it was already ‘out of fashion,’ and did well enough selling wholesale to nurseries that I was able to open my own craft store and rent individual space to over sixty other crafters to showcase their work.
Over the next few years, I wrote several novels, children’s books and metaphysical books. I acquired contracts for seven of those books and eventually took back my rights to those books and published them myself with my own publishing company, as well as representing and publishing seventy other new authors…
