About

Daisy Adams

Raised in the rural town of New Vineyard, Maine, I now live and paint in Dover, New Hampshire. In 2003 I traveled across the country and was inspired by America’s industrial scenery. Since then, I have been constantly snapping pictures of quirky roadside attractions and painting them.

My current body of work focuses mainly on the enchanting tackiness that is Roadside America. I am enthralled with the beauty that exists in abandoned gas stations, towering billboards, tourist traps and the sprawl of palm trees and water towers on the horizon. These pieces are intended to inspire a sense of nostalgia and wanderlust.
