Welcome!

Once upon a time in a village called Skokie ... I sat at my little oak, child size, table set with my Crayola's and wipeable tablecloth for HOURS coloring. It was only a matter of time that I grew up and pursued a fine arts degree at the University of Kansas. Since there is no place like home, I came home to Chicago and I am still here.

I love creating jewelry with fine and sterling silver, copper,14K gold filled, brass and aluminum along with beautiful semi precious stones, glass and metal beads. I enjoy the journey of finding vintage treasures and bringing new life to the old and blending the rich history of the past with the exciting promise of the future.

Bending, weaving, wrapping, beading, heating, hammering and stamping metals is my therapy by bringing forth beauty from raw and vintage materials. The challenge of creating beautiful jewelry from hundreds of jump rings woven to delight, shine and sparkle is a truly amazing. There is no concept of time when I am in my studio for I am lost in the passion of creation.

Some basic facts about me:
My family is #1
My favorite color is Blue
My favorite book is The Red Tent
My favorite movie is Wizard of Oz
My favorite food is chocolate (no surprise there!)
I am left handed which means I'm right brained. Hmmmm, funny how that works.
I am a tool and font junkie
Presentation is everything when I cook and entertain.
And ... I love my convertible. (it took me long enough to get one and I'll never be without one again!)
