About

Welcome to Dancing Garden
I'm Debbie, owner of Dancing Garden along with my wonderful husband (Jeff). Thank you to my customers, family and friends for turning me on to Etsy! I am so happy to be here.

I lovingly make my soaps and other products in small batches with the finest ingredients available. I use organic oils, such as: sustainable palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, jojoba, argan and a variety of butters (coconut, shea, avocado, macadamia nut), just to name a few. Most of my soaps are vegan friendly, with the exception of the milk or honey soaps. I use organic herbs from our garden whenever possible, or we buy organic botanicals, and we do our best to be eco friendly and use organic and natural products. All soaps are PARABEN FREE, PHTHALATE FREE, DETERGENT FREE, ETC!

Yes, we do wedding, shower and party favors. Any of our soaps can be made in a smaller size as favors and the 2 ounce body butter and fruit souffle make wonderful favors as well. We can also make up 1 ounce size of the body butter or fruit souffle. Our Lip Balms are fantastic wedding favors as well. We will custom make your label for free. Please keep in mind that cold process soaps need 6 weeks to cure. We usually make the soap favors in 2 ounce bars, however, they can be made smaller or larger. Pricing varies upon quantity and size ordered, please contact us if you would like more information.

We also sell wholesale and by the loaf, please contact us, if your interested in either of these.

I grew up on a farm in the Midwest where my mother and aunt taught me the craft of soap making in a big caldron on an open fire. That is how my passion began. While in Art school, I studied photography, ceramics and many other art areas. I worked as a graphic artist and stained glass artist for many years.

My passion for soap making and body products has continued over the years. I studied many aspects, including aromatherapy, oils, botanicals, etc. Being part Native American Indian has taught me a great deal about herbs and natural healing. I have over 20 years of experience and I strive to make the best products you have ever used! :)

Not all homemade soaps are a like, you will not find our soaps sticky, nor will they leave a greasy sticky residue on your skin. Who wants that!? Yuck! They are balanced to cleanse and enrich your skin from the oils, botanicals, and other ingredients, leaving your skin feeling clean, soft & subtle. Not dry! Once you try our soaps, you'll be amazed at the difference! Provide good drainage for the soap, so it doesn't sit in water & they will last a long time. I have had many customers telling me about soap they had previously purchased and they didn't last, even with proper drainage. They have been thrilled with ours! Our customers rave about our body butters and other products too.

You can see what our customers say about our products under our feedback. http://www.etsy.com/people/DancingGarden/feedback

I also have a passion for jewelry, ceramics, photography, glass, as well as creating desserts and anything to do with cooking. Anything to do with being creative...lol My husband and I love animals and nature. Nature is full of inspiration!

You may find my creations at local shops, art & craft shows and shops in other states. I love to meet my customers at the art shows, please stop by to say hi.
