About

I've been cultivating two loves to build my business, photography and jewelry making.

I started learning to wire wrap beads when my kids were very young as a way to accomplish something with my hands and escape from the daily chores of raising a family. Then, my husband bought me a digital camera for Christmas in 2006 and photography (mostly of nature) worked its way into my life. Since then I have been honing my skills and dreaming of the day I could find a way to bring the two together.

This past year I finally go the courage to make pendants and earrings using my photographs and embellish the necklaces with wire wrapped beads and I love it!

This past year I started taking my jewelry and then photographs to craft fairs and have received a lot of positive feedback, so I am expanding my shop to include photographs in my Etsy shop so that more people can see the world through my eyes. In the past 10 years I've lived in some amazing places and captured wonderful pieces of it to share with you, from Alaska to Yellowstone National Park, and big landscapes to intimate details. It's just how I look at the world, I hope you enjoy them.

When it comes to designing jewelry, I love playing with color and texture, and the possibilities presented by new beads. Colors and textures remind me of the outdoors, so when I'm stuck inside they inspire me and lift my spirits.

Working with my hands to create something beautiful makes me happy. I like to keep my designs simple and lightly feminine. If you see something you like but want to personalize the colors or stones, just convo me and I'll do my best to make it happen.

I like to support other Etsy shops and small local businesses, so I buy my beads and supplies from these places as much as possible.
