Daniel Ibanez's Profile

About

I have been a gallery artist since I was 16 years old. I love painting. I have my mentor, Ray Vinella, to thank for all I know about painting. I produce new work every week. The work is divided between traditional and digital methods. I really enjoy both processes. Art has carried me around the world, through college, and into my teaching career. I love it. I am currently showing in Fort Collins, CO.

Most of my work is about the "West." You might not see me painting cowboys and ranches... but the West is where I am from. The land, the space, the scale... it informs your senses. There are many things to examine about the West. Some of those things are romantic and full of hope, other things are vile and need to be exposed. I hope my brush can someday do all the talking; and my work will reveal all these things as I see them.
