About

I've always loved making jewellery, out of anything that came to hand when I was a small child, then making things to sell at school faires etc when I was growing up, and then mainly for myself once I left home.

Jewellery-making (and other creative pursuits) then took a bit of a back seat due to work commitments, until I realised that my work/life balance wasn't making me happy at all and decided to abandon work and turn back to making time for being creative, which is much more fulfilling for me!

I spent some years making jewellery and hair falls and selling them on eBay before deciding to concentrate more on my first passion, jewellery.

I love the Art Nouveau period and try to recreate some of the elegance and harmonious beauty of form in certain of my pieces, though I'm also very fond of Art Deco, Renaissance and Victorian styles, and also High Fantasy - fantastical creatures, mythology, swords, elements that tell a magical story. Why keep focus on the mundane? We could all do with an element of the fantastic in our lives.

I live in Liverpool, UK, with my husband and two cats, who frequently try to help with jewellery-making, especially when they shouldn't. (The cats, that is. Not my husband, well, at least, not usually.)
