I have worked with clay for over 20 years now and I still love doing it. I studied ceramics at our local college, here in Cottonwood, for over 14 years, taking the same class over and over. I know that sounds a little strange but I love being around kilns, wheels, and potters.
I make most of my pottery on the potters wheel. Handbuilding is fun too and sometimes I combine the two. I do functional stoneware, pit fire, sawdust fire, and Raku pottery. I fire my pottery in my electric and a Raku kilns.
