She is a registered member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape (Delaware) Indian Tribal Nation of NJ, Turtle Clan. She was inspired by her family members, Great-Great Grandmother Ida Wright Sammons/Simons, a professional seamtress and quilter and her Great - Grandmother, Helen Sammons/Simons Johnson, a jack of all trades to include sewing, quilting, beading, to name a few. It was Helen that taught her how to bead her first Nanticoke Corn Necklace at the age of 7 years old. Since she has continued to learn , develop and perfect her crafting skills and knowledge Nentego Designs is dedicated in providing excellent service and quality products to it's customers.
