I'm Tamara, and I live in a quiet shady corner on the edge of Indianapolis, in a mid-century home that was built by my grandparents, with one great guy, three great rescue cats and a plethora of deer, raccons, and assorted wildlife that actually seem to be the ones in charge around here.
I began my career as a designer for the theatre, but life's twists and turns brought me to open my Etsy shop in 2011. This store is my passion, though really it is the culmination of a lifetime of collecting and appreciating great design.
When I'm not dreaming up fun new items to produce for the shop, I'm enjoying my other long-time interests - camping in our vintage Airstream, shopping great flea markets and antique shops, or on lucky occasions - just enjoying a great classic movie and some home-cooked meals from my talented better half.
I am not an artist in the classical sense, but rather a person who appreciates great art and design and who - with a bit of luck - can combine the two and create something altogether new and different. It is my goal to share with you a colorful history of beautiful design and ornamentation that not only stands the test of time, but that when viewed from a new perspective and married with fun and practical modern accessories, can bring a little bit of that original artistry from the past into your everyday life. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions.
These are third party technologies used for things like interest based Etsy ads.
We do this with marketing and advertising partners (who may have their own information they’ve collected). Saying no will not stop you from seeing Etsy ads or impact Etsy's own personalization technologies, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
