About

Hello. My name is Stacy, and I am selling beaded jewelry using a variety of materials including gemstones, metal, wood, crystal, and glass. I live in Wilmette, IL (a Chicago suburb) with my husband and two children. I have enjoyed making handmade jewelry since 2004.

My original etsy store name was designbysunzeri. I took a break, a couple of them actually, when life got busy. I specifically remember that point being after my first child was born in 2007. I am finally at the point where I feel I might have enough time to devote to keeping an etsy shop, only this time I bring an exciting new concept.

I've always loved the allure of a unique one of a kind item. It seems that each piece has a story to tell. With my new shop, I will attempt to tell a little story for each creation. Each piece of jewelry will come with a unique poem written by me personally. I will send the poem along with the jewelry. I don't claim to be a poet, and as I am not trained to understand all the rules of classic poetry, I certainly cannot guarantee that the poem will abide by said rules. It is simply my hope that I can pass along a little nugget of inspiration. It is my greater hope that that piece of inspiration will live on in your one of a kind creation, each and every time you slip it on.
Thank you for visiting my store. Please come back often to keep up with the progress of the unfolding story of Poetic Notions.
