About

Danielle started Dirty Bakers Dozen in 2008 in a tiny office within her tiny apartment in Oregon City, OR. Although she used Dirty Bakers Dozen as a nickname on MySpace the name never quite clicked until she decided to officially start her business. Having handcrafted greeting cards for family and friends she discovered back in 2005, Danielle decided to take it to the streets. The cards grew into an inspiring idea - bookmarks. She continued to make cards and bookmarks until about March 2009 when she found the need for flip flops in her own wedding. Her first pair was for the bridesmaids – black with little black flowers with rhinestone and pearl centers. Danielle has a pretty interesting back and forth type of background. You name it she’s probably lived there, been there, has family there or visits friends there. She was raised in the Mid-West, St. Peters, MO to be exact; went to college in San Diego, CA; rode the wagon up to Oregon where she resided outside of Portland for 4 years. Now, she's taking a break from the ominous cloudy skies to soak up the sunshine in central Florida. She’s an Interior Designer/Project Manager by day, or night depending on the project, and an entrepreneur, volunteer, TV viewer, house maintainer and mommy to a 4-legged, tail wagging beauty.. Her mind is always cranking out ideas while her hands are constantly working them out. Execution is the key and perseverance gets you everywhere. With a little diligence Danielle can succeed at creating anything.
