Don Johnson's Profile

About

I began my ceramics life while in school during the 1970's. This lead me to opening a production studio producing functional items marketed through craft fairs and wholesale accounts. After meeting the love of my life and knowing we would be raising a family I decided to enter a career in the computer industry but still kept my hand in ceramics.

Approximately 10 years ago I seriously resumed my pottery making. I began making urns in 2003 when my father asked me to make his and I have been doing so since. Each urn is individually made by me on the potter's wheel so each is unique.
