Some stuff about me:

Welcome to Earth Goods for the Spirit! I am a Native Descended Seventh Generation Hand Sewing Seamstress and Artistic Graphic Designer of Many Mediums who is steeped in the Ancient Traditions of Creating Beautiful Things from Natural Treasures.

Raised in the Deep Woods of Minnesota on the Shores of The Great Lake Superior I spent my youth wandering her sparkling shores and collecting beautiful, Spiritual things that were gifted to me by the waters. I was patiently taught by my Artist and Seamstress Mother to craft these items into even more meaningful objects of the heart and share them with others on my life's journey.

After a Full Life of raising my three Children and a Successful Career as a Graphic Design Artist, my Husband, A Master Goldsmith by trade, and I retired from our professions, sold all we had and took to the road in our RV.

We found ourselves at the very Southern tip of this continent on a sandy beach in Florida wondering what we were going to do for the rest of our lives when we looked around us at all the bountiful shells that nature had provided us and saw our future unfold before us as the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico.

We had both been studying the Ancient Peoples of this continent for over 30 years and here before us was the opportunity to gather the resources of the beach just as our Ancestors had done before us and hand craft such items as we would need to teach what we had learned over those many decades.

We then traveled to every Museum and Cultural Center available to us and rediscovered the Peoples of the Past first hand and set about bringing objects they held close to their hearts back to life for all of us to learn about enjoy today using natural materials we found on our travels. We will ever be grateful to all the Learning Institutions for opening their vaults for us and letting us explore their vast collections.

Since then we have taught thousands throughout the Country at Historic Reenacting Events and been featured on news programs and written about in publications as we have traveled these past 7 years. Our favorite pastime is either to be teaching Children about their Ancient Past or wandering miles of empty beach and river collecting those things that we can make into either teaching tools or original wearable ocean art.

I have a passion for shells, beach glass and driftwood which I love to make into natural, organic jewelry to express my love of all things nautical in a fashionable and stylish way. I always wear some element of the sea on me at all times, even in the busiest city or the most posh and swank hotel or resort, it keeps me grounded and shows my appreciation for what is truly real and honors where we all originally came from.

We find these gifts from the earth comforting and good for what ever it is that is missing in this hectic modern day life. We hope you will find these gifts inspirational in your own life and they lead you on the road to peace and understanding of what we have been, what we are and what we could be when we hold precious what has been given to us by the Great Mother Earth.

Peace and Health to You and Yours as we all travel this Great Road of Life Together.
