About

I'm a mother-to-be (due April 2nd) and a stepmother of two. I have an amazing husband who offers me more love and support than I thought anyone could! I live with 2.3 dogs (a retired racing greyhound, a true American mutt, and a tiny 4lb, 3-legged terrier mix) two cats (mother and daughter) a tank full of fish, and a crayfish. It's a full house and a busy life, but I wouldn't change it for anything!

I've been doodling all my life, but never "seriously," if you will. It wasn't until I was put on bed rest while pregnant with my first son, Thatcher, that I started really creating my own style of doodled critters and people. Still, it wasn't until I came up with five dinosaur doodles to decorate his nursery, and gave them all names (you can find them in my shop if you search for "Thatcher's Dinos") that I ever thought of selling any of my work.

It was my stepson, Roaden, who gave me the idea, as he obsessed over the dino doodles and started making requests for his own doodles. He even wrote a book about the dinos and illustrated it himself, studying my pictures carefully. Suddenly it dawned on me how much fun it would be to do nothing BUT doodle, and how rewarding it would be to have other kids and grown-ups fall in love with my little creations. So I came running to Etsy, armed with my pens and paper, and got to doodling!
