About

Definitely a beach girl. Having grown up, for a short time, as a child on a tiny tropical island with white sand beaches and the clear blue-green ocean waters, left an impression on my heart. The majority of my life I have actually lived in Northern California, where I currently reside. I have remained a coastal person and always will be. So tropical at heart, if you came in my home and looked around, you would not know I lived somewhere that isn't very warm. My home is full of tropical influence and of my love of the Hawaiian Islands where I love to frequent,
Due to the artistic influence of my mother, I was raised to create and be artistic. I believe it is healthy to express oneself in art of some form of another.

I recall mask making, macrame, drawing, jewelry, and accessory making growing up. In fifth and sixth grade I made flower hair accessories and ran around town selling them for change to treat myself to things at the store. In college I enjoyed calligraphy and artwork with pastels and charcoals.
I love jewelry of all kinds, and often had trouble finding exactly what I was looking for, so I would make my own to go with outfits. Eventually, jewelry making became just a way to express myself and I would make things and pass them all on to friends. Finally, I was peer pressured into opening an etsy account so I could share with everyone, the things that make me feel alive.
The majority, but not all, of the items I make are influenced by the ocean, nature, my environment, or something that elicits tropical or exotic thoughts in me. I love to create and love to make people happy. Whether someone is looking for something specific, is spontaneously shopping, looking for a gift, or sees something that elicits a memory of a once visited tropical place, I hope my items will fill their needs.
