I am a mother of three gorgeous children and more recently a mischievous(and equally adorable) dog!
I have always been a "maker", stitching soft toys and dolls' clothes as a child.
Having been bitten by the quilting bug in the late 1990s, I went on to complete City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 in Patchwork and Quilting. Following this, I was invited to join Ten Plus Textiles (www.tenplustextiles.com),a warm and talented group of textile artists. We exhibit our work together around twice a year.
Patchwork and quilting remain my first love, but I also enjoy knitting, crochet, felting and mixed media.I am inspired by canals, cities, beaches and the Isle of Skye. Circular forms and organic, curved lines often feature in my work.
I am currently interested in combining modern technology with traditional patchwork techniques.
