About me

I first got interested in photography at about the age of 13. My brother had a Pentax SLR and I would, as younger brothers do, follow him with interest. I even got to use it occasionally. Although I was born in London, UK I was taught and grew up in New Zealand. This was a great place for me to photograph as the countryside is so beautiful and the beach was never far away. At 17, after I had returned to London, I took the plunge and started my photographic career.

I assisted a couple of photographers for a few years until I started to go freelance and have been a working photographer ever since. I am largely self-taught in both photography and digital retouching though my stint as a photographers assistant really taught me a lot about both techniques and business.

Here I intend to show off some of my personal stuff - the kind of images that I take mostly for fun! Most of the photographs here have been textured and manipulated to achieve the final look that I was after resulting in a unique piece of Fine Art.
