Dessert has always been a passion of mine. I've been in the restaurant/ food industry professionally for 11 years now. I started like most as a waitress working through school. Then I packed my bags and went off to the big city and enrolled at The Illinois Institute of Arts-Chicago. I got my degree in Culinary Arts and began working in bakeries as a Cake Decorator and Baker. After working under some wonderful, skilled chefs I decided it was time to go on my own.
Life is short and sweet and I'm going to eat as much cake as I can while I'm here.
