I learned to sew, when i was 10 years old, on a Singer treadle machine and thus began my life as a fiber artist.
Opening my first business when i was 20, a dress design shop in Marblehead, then stitching for a hippie leather shop in Chinatown and finally morphing into an ornament maker into my thirties and beyond has given me the freedom and the joy of creating with no boundaries.

I knit when i have time and sew almost every day of my life.

My line of ornaments is created first with freehand machine stitching on a three-layer sandwich of wool/rayon felt, and dacron polyfil fiber.
Each ornament is then hand cut with scissors,
hand painted with acrylics,
and, in some cases, embellished with various mixed media materials, including beads, fibers, shells, feathers, silk flowers and collected natural…
