Combining my work with plants with my love for the environment with a healthy dash of creative outlet thrown in.

In college I worked in the herbarium of the Carnegie Museum where I learned first hand how to preserve and mount botanic specimens for long term archival collections. It was probably the most fun I ever had at a job - I got to do all the technical science things that I love, but I was also tasked with making the specimens aesthetically appealing. I really missed doing that, and thus Ecobota was born. It is my own intersection of art and science.

I have a degree in Environmental Science as well as numerous years working in Museums and Botanic Gardens around Pennsylvania so you can be sure each specimen that I wild collect is not damaging the ecosystem in…
