Growing up I often saw images of edelweiss, gentian and alpine rhododendron flowers - the red, white and blue trio of treasured Swiss souvenirs that my mother's family in Switzerland would give us.

Many years ago, I became oddly obsessed with finding an edelweiss Christmas ornament, and not finding one to my liking, I decided to make one.

That ornament is the inspiration for my shop's name - Edelweiss Ornaments.

After that, I created several ornaments, boxes and jewelry inspired by Switzerland and other things that I enjoy.

When I see my 'kitschy' ornaments, I get a cheery feeling. I hope they make you feel the same way!
