About

I was born in the chaotic but also fun Mexico City. When I turned 5 years old, my mom introduced me to the wonderful world of crafts. She taught me how to sew, how to embroidery and how to knit. My craft education continued with 9 years of catholic school where every year we had to do a project for mother's day! This was by far my favorite subject. Each year the project became harder. We began with cross stitching a table cloth, continued with embroidering a sequin peacock in a velvet background and finally a whole knitted sweater.

My craft education continued with 9 years of catholic school where every year we had to do a project for mother's day! This was by far my favorite subject. Each year the project became harder. Those years have passed but my interest of making things with my hands have only grown stronger. I spent the last years travelling and getting to know better what did I wanted to do. You see I always had so many ideas flowing in my head that it was hard to focus. Last year while visiting family in Mexico, I discovered that working with metals is what I love the most. Finally after much searching I can focus my energy in one: metalsmithing.

These days I continue my education here in Portland. I share a studio with three very talented jewelers who keep teaching me every day. Thanks for stop by at my store and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do.
