The artist has had a life long admiration for the natural beauty of stones, picking up pebbles as soon as she could toddle. She received a design degree from the University of Kansas and a Graduate Gemologist certification from the Geological Institute of America. For the last seven years, she has worked as a bench jeweler for Mark's Jewelers in Lawrence Kansas. An independent bridal and custom jewelry store, it is the 14th oldest jewelry store in the United States.

The artist has spread her wings, using her knowledge and skill to create unique pieces. The philosophy for the company is: the materials should inspire the piece, and the piece should provide enjoyment for more than one season.

Sterling silver is used rather than cheaper plated goods. Natural stones (the more unusual the better) are incorporated while glass and plastic beads are not used (excepting some torch fired glass).

The sterling fabricated pieces are significantly labor intensive. For instance, the chain is hand woven at the rate of an inch per hour. Each piece is luxurious with a combination of complex textures. When wearing one, you will know that it is truly one of a kind.

The beaded necklaces are a freer form of experimentation. They emphasize color, pattern, and -most of all- showcase the beauty of natural stones. Jump-rings are soldered shut on the necklaces so that they won't pull apart like some commercial jewelry.
