Carol Wilson's Profile

About

I love to use naturally-dyed, rare-breed fleece from the Peak District, where I work from my studio. My specialty is making felt landscapes from Whitefaced Woodland fleece. This breed of sheep is indigenous to where I live. Much of my inspiration comes from the English countryside; mostly from the ever changing colours and textures of the Derbyshire Peak District, but also the Jurassic Coast where I grew up.
