Graduating magna cum laude from Franklin Pierce University, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communications including minors of Fine Art and Art History in 1996. In addition to graphic design, my early studies included life drawing, glassblowing, and photography; I later concentrated my fine arts studies on painting.

I primarily work in watercolor, it suits my personality and artistic style. Importantly, watercolor lends itself to the stop-and-start workstyle I need as a busy mother of three young boys. My color palette includes American-made, natural mineral pigment watercolor paints.
