Stephanie Taylor's Profile

About

I began learning basic beading and wire-wrapping techniques a little over four years ago - from classrooms in local bead shops around Austin and from free internet tutorials. I made my first wire wrapped Tree of Life in Feb. 2011 and my craft is continually evolving. I find wire wrapping to be a creative, meditative activity that calms my restless mind and helps me practice patience...and when I'm done, I've produced something beautiful!

In the course of learning how to make jewelry, I've developed a bead addiction and have become a voracious collector of the shiny, sparkly little guys. Opening an Etsy store is my attempt to recoup some of the money I've spent on my (growing) bead collection and to continue the practice of making, making, making!
