Creating new scents and experimenting with different essential and fragrance oils can be a time consuming process, but very fun experience. But what drew me to creating scents was the fact that it can be very difficult to find a fragrance that is alcohol free or made using only natural ingredients.

I like natural ingredients because many of them are beneficial to our health or will not harm our bodies like many of the chemicals used in cosmetics nowadays. Alcohol can burn the skin, but natural oils are soothing and moisturizing. Fragrances containing chemicals can also have very strong, almost overwhelming, scents. Each fragrance is made with natural ingredients. Each specific oil is hand blended in precise amounts with a grape seed carrier oil so it is skin-friendly. Grape seed oil is light and great for sensitive skin. After a scent is made, it is set in a dark, cool environment to "infuse" for a minimum of three days, sometimes a week or more. The longer a scent sits, the more fragrant it will be.
