Welcome to my shop! My interest in handmade gnomes, dolls, and other earthly things began when my only daughter was born. Dissatisfied with the commercial toy industry, I learned about the Waldorf philosophy and ordered a wooden wagon set out of a catalogue. After that there was just no going back!

Now that my daughter is grown, this interest in handmade toys and whimsies remains. As the parent who let her daughter play barefoot in the grass (to the dismay of the neighbors) I believe strongly that nature influences us just as much as we influence it.

Each handcrafted item holds a tiny bit of nature’s wonder in it. I hope you enjoy my items as much as I enjoy making them. After all, everyone needs a cheery gnome looking out for them and brightening their day!
