About

Welcome to the Fantastic Visions Etsy shop! Here, you'll find a wide range of awesome, hand-crafted wearable art - from fandom phone covers and jewelry to Steampunk-inspired works, to my signature product, Dragon & Treasure pendants.

I am an award winning digital artist with a passion for fantasy & sci-fi. I have always been creative - in fact one of my favorite memories is when, in third grade, we were instructed to make a paper-plate and construction paper animal. My classmates did your basic flat shapes to form their creations but mine was a super detailed cat - down to the curly, 3D tongue and whiskers.

I was exposed to some fantasy novels when I was growing up - The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings series but it wasn't until I went to college that this whimsical, fantastically imaginative genre really sparked my interest.

Today, I travel around the Southeast vending at fantasy/sci-fi/anime conventions (which is super fun) but I am first and foremost a fan. My favorite part of any convention is getting to meet other really cool people and sharing our mutual love for everything "fandom." I've always been a little "different" (see story about the paper plate cat, hah) - even as a child I always felt a little out of step with everyone else. It wasn't until I went to my first convention in 2004 (Dragon*Con here in Atlanta) that I finally felt "normal!"

So, welcome to my world! Enjoy your stay - and be sure and come back frequently!
