Dip, which was featured in the school’s newspaper. Converting his
obsession with music to recording movie scores, he graduated in
2010 with his degree and a Sundance selection with the feature
film ‘Bilal’s Stand.’ The film awarded him ‘Best Original Score –
Feature’ in the 2011 Detroit Film Festival and the push to make it as a
film composer.

He moved to LA to continue his singer/songwriter passion and
film-composing career. Returning to Michigan for a family reunion,
he took a trip with his cousins to a discount shop where he found
vintage onion stud earrings, which was the joke purchase of the trip,
he thought it would be fun to make his own stud earrings inspired by
food, cartoons, the 90’s, and pop art. His family and friends began
requesting different pairs. More and more requests and designs led
him to develop an earring business and brand, Ghost Toast.
