In 2013 he stepped down from the priesthood in support of marriage equality and LGBT rights and was subsequently excommunicated for these efforts. Since then he has remained a tireless advocate on these issues while maintaining his activism work for the homeless and poor. Over the last decade he has participated in numerous poverty awareness efforts and helped distribute food and clothing to thousands of people locally. Most notably his efforts to reduce anti-homeless laws in Florida has garnered national attention.

This shop is dedicated to the items that he has restored from that convent, and other unique antiquities he has found throughout his travels.
