About

I have loved to make things since I was a child and I'm still inspired by the creativity behind all handmade crafts. I especially love sewing and needlecrafts and have more recently become interested in felting, in particular knitted felting. All my handbags are lined. Most are interfaced for extra shape and durability. Stress points, such as handles, are double stitched. For handbags with flat bottoms, I add a stiff plastic canvas between the wool and the lining so your bag will stand up. All items are handmade by me in my smoke-free home.
My plush cactus pincushions have been featured in the February 2014 issue of STUFFED magazine. My tote bags and flower brooches were featured in the Winter 2010 issue of GreenCraft magazine. My flower basket handbag was featured in the Autumn 2009 issue of Haute Handbags. And other felted wool flower accessories were featured in the Winter 2009 issue of Sew Somerset.
