About

Like many mothers, when my daughter was little, I wanted to buy her some pretty dress up clothes for play. After purchasing the clothes, I was disappointed to find that they only fit her for less than a year before she outgrew them, even though they were labeled "One size fits most." I came to realize that "most" meant "size 3 to 5" and my daughter quickly grew beyond that. My search for larger-sized dress up sets proved fruitless and I turned to my mother (the sewing guru) for help. Together we brainstormed and designed bigger dress up clothes for my daughter. When her friends came to play, they swarmed the dress up clothes, eager to try on everything. Seeing the fun they had every time they played launched the idea for my Etsy shop.

The philosophy behind my products is to provide dress up sets that are easy to put on and take off. They are clothes that "older" girls (ages 6 and up) can wear, either over their clothes or alone, and that accommodate a variety of sizes. In addition, I want to have sets with interchangeable pieces that can be worn and used in many different ways. My goal, as my tag line states, is to "Energize imaginations" and I believe these products help provide hours of creative playtime fun. Naturally, my mother is my design consultant and my daughter is my resident dress up expert who regularly gives her stamp of approval for colors, styles, fit, feel, and use of items. She constantly amazes me with her keen imagination and creativity.

In addition, I like to collect my own set of vintage "dress up" items. I love the old purses, hats, scarves and gloves that bring back a bygone era. They take me back to my own dress up days and so in a sense help me have a second childhood. The glamour, charm, and quaintness of these items just have to be shared with you.

Please take a look at my items and thank you for your interest.
