I am Owen Klaas. Shortly after high school I became extremely wealthy by inventing and trademarking the phrase "Have a nice day." I took advantage of my wealth to pursue my dreams and throughout my early 20's I travelled the globe playing trombone with the foremost MC Hammer tribute band in the world called Hammer Time. The Pennysaver heralded us as "the ultimate MC Hammer experience" and the Kansas City Gazette proclaimed, "This band is legit!! Too legit to quit!! By the first note the music grabs you so hard you wanna reach out and touch it, but .... u can't touch this!!" As fate would have it on the night of our last performance in Sri Lanka I reunited and fell in love with my Kindergarten teacher who was 66 at the time but didn't look a day over 58. We married the next day and she promptly squeezed out 8.2 children, 4 of whom I loved very much and still communicate with to this very day. We moved to Somalia and taught sign language to African Bush Babies through most of my late 20's and early 30's. By my 40's I had squandered most of my "have a nice day" money on bad Parcheesi bets and Precious Moments figurines so I moved to a small sleepy fishing town know as Stonington, Maine where I died alone and penniless.
