First Chair Clothing stands for more than just getting the First Chair on a powder day and making those first bottomless turns. It is a lifestyle. It is for those people that go charge up the mountain after a long day at work. Or get up before the sunrise on a Saturday morning to hike up a 14er. For those people that skip the ski lift all together and skin up to your favorite secret powder stash. Your "Sunday Funday" means you spent an epic day biking with friends and then trading stories of your adventures over some parking lot beers. First Chair is all about enjoying nature and the outdoors and the beauty that surrounds us every day.

I am a self taught screen printer, I focus on single color prints with minimal design and a vintage worn in look. I only use the best and most comfortable American Apparel shirts, these are the softest shirts I have been able to find and they only get better after time. I also use water based ink to minimize my environmental impact. My unique printing style shows in each and every shirt. I do not have a studio or a dark room like most screenprinters do. I print each and every shirt in the spare bedroom of my home in Golden, Colorado. I have a very unique printing process. I expose every screen in the sunshine, hand pull every print on my single color press, and use a hand held heat gun to cure the ink on every shirt. This process is very time consuming but I love the results that come of this hard work. You are truly getting a unique shirt that will last you a lifetime.

In my opinion, the only way to approach the mountains is with a simplistic mindset. Just be one with the land. And I try to convey that message in my designs and the actual printing of each and every product.

Live Simply my friends!
