Jessica Berman's Profile

About

Hello. My name is Jessica and I am a torch-aholic.
I started designing jewelry as a kid in the early 80's when I discovered fluorescent plastic paperclips! Then I moved on to polymer clay jewelry in the 90's, then basic metal smithing in the aughts. I have taken many jewelry classes but am mostly self-taught. Over the years I have developed a love of metal and colorful glass. So, using a torch to melt colorful glass powders onto metals is the perfect medium for me.

Oh, and I have a husband who is an organic farmer and we are the proud parents of two domestic cats and several barn kitties.

I HAVE BEEN BUSY WITH A NEW LOVE: BEADED KUMIHIMO NECKLACES...SO I'LL HAVE A NEW SHOP OPENING SOON....LOOK FOR MY OTHER USER NAME ON ETSY: "Color Me Kumi" ....
