I am an artist that is privileged to have lived in numerous places. I gained a distinct appreciation for the ocean and coastal living having spent my childhood in North Hampton NH. The sense of city dwelling became a part of me in my short time spent in Illinois. Geography again shifted, this time to the glacially carved valleys of Vermont. For a while the country living was good, and steep, but the coast was calling, or maybe it was just gravity, and was time to move again. New home is a conglomeration of the total, the almost preconceived selection of the best part of every last. There is the community of the populous, rather than the cosmic separation of Vermont, the magnificence of the coasts better than the glories of Chicago’s steel, and the topographic majesty of the Green Mountains; home.
