Liavali Coquet's Profile
I learned to use a sewing machine at age 8 from my great-aunt Zira. It was a black and gold manual Singer, so beautiful.
I love vintage things, beautiful and special things... I like to use 20's, 30's and 50's fashion styles in my clothes choices, and I use many vintage patterns to make authentic Edwardian and Victorian clothing pieces with small modern adaptations.
My personal interest in Asian aesthetics and history have taken me to use vintage kimono silks to make unique pieces.
Foreign Floozy is the name I have been using for my creations, that at this moment center around head decoration, fascinators or something of its family, like you never seen them before...
I use vintage materials where possible and otherwise, buy locally, use fair trade and recycled materials and supplies…
