Sabrina Cannell's Profile
I come from a long line of artists, craftsmen, and lovers of nature. My father was a scholar and theologian of Native American descent & instilled in him a deep respect for the natural world. My father's brother is an accomplished maker of stained glass. My mother is a proficient oil painter of landscapes; her father was an artist, as well. At 16, I began exhibiting a talent for woodworking in the service of cabinet makers and fine furniture shops. Over the following quarter century, I've have been called upon to restore valuable antique furniture, refinish cherished pianos, and craft elaborate millwork for banks and public buildings. I've earned many honors in my trade Including the distinction of being named the Official Master Wandmaker to the Chicago Close-Up Magic Competition, held annually at Navy Pier in Chicago.
I have now expanded my art to include abstract paintings on canvas.
