FoundNation's Profile

About

FoundNation was born of a pursuit– a constant quest really – of finding the perfectly weathered artifact, the most interesting keyhole or the discarded piece that tells us a story. In a way they all do, tell a story that is. Can inanimate objects have a voice? It’s possible, but only to those who will listen. Some of them bellow their history in fear of being lost, but most merely whisper, content with what was and the possibility of what will be. Their murmurs and shouts were heard by us at FoundNation and they urged us to gather them…but then what? Why not use them in the unexpected? Who would’ve thought such utilitarian objects could become art? We did. We take these once scattered misfits and give them a new life. We hear their history, transform their image and hope to be the narrators of a new tale. We would love it if you would join us in that journey.
