Devora is a unique young lady out in the community trying to show others that everyone has potential to do something and enjoys what she is doing. Devora has agenesis of the corpus callosum (missing the bridge between two halves of her brain) and numerous other complex medical issues. When she aged out of school 9 years ago, life stops and all the friends and teachers involved in her rich education came to an abrupt halt. In Illinois, there are no programs for those like Devora to go to having her to be at home with her family 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Devora is very community based and started her unique business with the help of her mother who sews tactile objects onto mittens for Devora to use in her waving hands up and down to paint her artisan frames.
