Being a potter is a communal experience- we often work in cooperatives, community studios, or have an extended social network of potters. We also belong to a craft tradition going back 30,000 years, which tends to make us feel like we are in good company. On the other hand, while at work the potter is a hermit, each piece crafted in a self-imposed bubble of creative isolation where the potter interacts with the clay and outside influences are reduced to a murmur. Thank you for visiting my shop, please feel free to look at my website as well, freerangepottery.com.-Adam
