Artistic creative inspiration and spiritual encouragement are gifts of the Lord. In a family of 8, I grew up by a lake on a farm with a seed cleaning business in Minnesota where I discovered a love for nature and the desire to draw/create. Alexandria Technical College lead me to a career in graphic design. Ceramics, jewelry design and woodworking are art classes I’ve enjoyed as an adult. Visits to museums, galleries, theatres and concerts are favorite forms of entertainment. I utilize and decorate with "found objects".
■ My husband is a metal artist with a joy for "picking". His diligent work ethic is traced to a dairy farm in South Dakota. He honors the past by cleaning, restoring and preserving eclectic vintage treasures for their historical value, beauty and green eco-friendly utilitarian function.
